Student Leadership

At Coral Park Primary School, we believe that student leadership is pivotal to fostering a thriving school community. Our dynamic Student Leadership program engages students across various areas, ensuring they play an active role in shaping our school environment.

Our Student Representative Council (SRC) serves as the voice of the student body. Elected representatives work tirelessly to organise and support fundraising initiatives such as free dress and dress-up days. These events not only raise essential funds but also strengthen our school spirit and sense of community.

In addition, our School Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) Captains champion student wellbeing. They are instrumental in promoting positive behaviour by announcing SWPBS Awards at assemblies and distributing Icy Poles during lunch. Their efforts are crucial in creating an environment where every student feels valued and motivated.

Our House Captains further enrich our school’s leadership landscape. Representing the four houses—Scorpions, Lynx, Pegasus, and Phoenix—these captains take centre stage at our bi-weekly assemblies. They lead their houses with enthusiasm and pride, encouraging team spirit and friendly competition throughout the school year.

Through these roles, our student leaders not only contribute to our school’s daily activities but also develop essential life skills such as public speaking, organisation, and teamwork. At Coral Park Primary School, we are committed to nurturing these skills and preparing our students to become confident, responsible leaders both within and beyond our school community.
