School Wide Positive Behaviour Support

At Coral Park Primary School we follow the School Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS) program which is a framework that brings together school communities to develop positive, safe, supporting learning cultures.

As a part of the implementation of SWPBS, our school has developed a 'Behaviour Expectations' matrix. The behaviour matrix is based on our school values of being:

  • Respectful

  • Responsible

  • Determined

  • Resilient

The matrix ensures both teachers and students know the expectations of behaviour in different situations throughout the school.

Keep an eye out for our Coral Star News videos on the homepage of our website and our Facebook page. Our students will be modelling these positive behaviour expectations soon!

Every second Friday, instead of a whole school assembly, every grade in the school participates in classroom activities where the focus is on implementing a social and emotional learning program. These sessions may include talking about the ZONES of Regulation and what to do to 'get back to Green'. You can read more about the ZONES of Regulation here.
